Mary Janalee “Jan” Johnson, 74 of Corinth passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. A Celebration of Life service is set for Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Corinth at 2:00pm with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 12:00 noon until service time at First Baptist Church. Born December 24, 1943, Jan was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Jimmy Johnson and wife Roan of Saltillo and Dr. Russ Johnson and wife Megan of Tupelo; daughter, Jenny Miller and husband David of Corinth; 10 grandchildren, Millie Janalee Johnson, Smith Russell Johnson, Olivia Hamilton and husband Brian, Julie Peters and husband Sam, Clay Johnson, Leah Johnson, Sam Johnson, Will Mansel and wife Elle, Seth Mansel and girlfriend Anna Kate and Grace Mansel; one great grandson, James Anderson Mansel; sisters, Julie Farris of Corinth and Ann Andre’ and husband Frank of Fayetteville, GA; special caregivers, Amy Carmen, Tonya Reynolds, Brenda Parker, Lila Grigsby, Russian Clark, Chrystal Harrell, Mary Kelley and Margaret Wade; other relatives and a host of friends. Jan is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Clay “Jim” Johnson; father, Edwin Russell Keaton and mother, Mary Virginia LaGarde Keaton Anderson. Pallbearers will be Dr. Jimmy Johnson, Dr. Russ Johnson, Will Mansel, Seth Mansel, Clay Johnson, Sam Johnson, Jeff Mansel and David Miller, Phillip MaGahey, Doug Farris, Bro. Warren Jones and Bro. Dennis Smith will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mary Janalee “Jan” Johnson.
