James Earl White, 75, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born in McNairy County, TN on April 29, 1942 to the late Kelsey and Pat Richardson White, graduated from McNairy Central High School and attended Northeast Community College. He was employed for 22 years with Wurlitzer until he opened White's Auto Sales in 1990. He enjoyed buying and selling cars, loved racing, mowing the grass and working on cars. James Earl was a long standing deacon at Michie First Baptist Church. He loved God and loved people. It was evident in the way he had such a heart of service for others. James Earl had an amazing work ethic at everything he did in life. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be forever remembered in the hearts of those he loved. Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 7 pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 and from 1 pm until service time Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A home going celebration of James Earl's life will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Roy Bennett. Interment will follow in Michie Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tim Underwood, Darwin Coleson, Wayne Parker, James Blakney, Mike Logan, and Johnny Potts. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor James Earl's memory include his wife of 52 years: Sarah Ann White of Corinth, MS; his son: James Clevey White and wife Susan of Muscle Shoals, AL; his daughter: Lou Anne Underwood and husband Tim of Muscle Shoals, AL; his grandchildren: Morgan Burkeens and husband Anthony, Eli McCoy Underwood and Ellis James Underwood; his great grandson: James Asher Burkeens; his sisters: Patricia Dickerson and husband Neal of Pickwick, TN and Oneida Cabral of Selmer, TN; other relatives and a host of friends.
