Funeral services for James William "Red" Richardson, 78, of Corinth are set for Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 10am until service tine at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Pallbearers will be Raymond Patterson, Chris Kelly, Charles Windom, Lucky Briggs, Shawn Counce and Ben Garner. Honorary pallbearers will be the Corinth Fire Department. Born October 30, 1944, "Red" passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was of the Christian faith . "Red" was a retired Captain for the Corinth Fire Department with 42 years of service. He loved his job and he always said they were his family. James loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, gardening, dancing and cooking. Working in the yard, doing word search puzzles and helping others was his favorite pass times. Those left to cherish his memories include his nephew, Terry "Peetie" Faulkner (Tammy); special friend, Lottie Haynes; brother-in-law, John Ford; other numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. "Red" is preceded in death by his father, Fred Eugene "Freddie" Richardson; mother, Irene Watson Rorie Richardson; brother, J. W. Richardson; sisters, Lena Faye Richardson and Ethel Mae Ford; and a nephew, Randy Faulkner. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. James William "Red" Richardson.
