Funeral services for James Edward Murphy, 53 of Olivehill, Tn are set for Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:00pm at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Olivehill, TN. with burial in the Murphy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2:00pm until service time on Friday at the church. My. Murphy passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his home. Born December 12, 1963, Mr. Murphy was a retired foreman for Olivehlll Lumber Company and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, June Gray Murphy; sons, Daniel Murphy and wife Crystal, Bryson Murphy,Dustin Murphy,Ethan Murphy,Peyton Murphy and Tyler Murphy; daughters,Tosha Martin, Jessica Murphy,Casey Martin and Samantha Murphy; grandchildren, Jayden Adam, A. J. Murphy, Brantley Murphy, Joshua Murphy,Carter Murphy and Dawson Murphy; sister, Jennifer Murphy and husband Daron Staggs, a half sister, Diane Hicks; many other children who knew him as Daddy James, other relatives and a host of friends. Mr. Murphy is preceded in death by his father, J. C. Murphy and his mother, Lorine Brown Murphy. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffery Brown, Daniel Murphy, Dustin Murphy, Ethan Murphy, Bryson Murphy, Jayden Adams and Daron Staggs.
