James H. "Jack" Langston

A Celebration of Life service for James H. "Jack" Langston, 90 of Rienzi, MS, will be Monday, June 10, 2019 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Danville Cemetery. Bro. Danny Huggins will officiate the service. Visitation will by Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Langston passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at MS Care in Corinth, MS. He was born December 12, 1928 in Alcorn County, MS to James Lesley "Les" Langston and Laura Mae Inman Langston. He was a stainer for the Wurlitzer Co and was a member of Rienzi Baptist Church. He served his country in the U S Army during the Korean War. Jack is survived by his brother, Ray Langston and his wife Thelma of Rienzi, MS; his sisters, Ilene Cooksey and husband Charles of Corinth, MS, Sheila Hales of Walnut, MS, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lesley "Les" Langston; his Mother, Laura Mae Inman Langston; his brothers, Aaron Langston and Duley Langston and his sisters, Eva Cartwright, Janice Cox, Irene Johnson and Betty Brooks. Pallbearers will be C. J. Russell, Brad Brooks, Bill Brooks, Bricen Hales and Hunter Brooks. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. James H. "Jack" Langston.
