James Hindman, 71, of Counce, TN passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, TN. He was born in Hardin County, TN on April 4, 1948 to the late Hobert and Ruby George Hindman and was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. James graduated from Pickwick Southside and was a lifelong truck driver. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm and Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 11 am till service time at Pisgah UMC. A celebration of James’ life will be held at 1 pm Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Pisgah United Methodist Church officiated by Bro. Keith Driskell and Rev. Vicki Landrum. Richie Rodgers will offer the eulogy. Pallbearers include Johnny Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Steve Churchwell, Billy Rickman, Richie Rodgers, and Gary Austin. Willard Webb will serve as honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor James’ memory include his son: Chad Hindman (Abra) of Counce, TN; his grandchildren: Seth Hindman, Elizabeth Hindman, Cameron Hindman, and Bryton Kennedy; his sister: JoAnn Rodgers (Jimmy) of Jackson, TN; his brother-in-law: Steve Churchwell of Jackson, TN; his sisters-in-law: Dee Morris of Michie, TN and Linda Austin (Gary) of Counce, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years: Maryann Hindman; his sister: Glenda Churchwell; his brothers-in-law: Bobby Gene Forsythe and Lonnie Morris.
