James Gray

A Celebration of Life Service for James Gray, 83 of Corinth, MS, will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Burnsville, MS. Bro. Alan Parker and Bro. Jacob Ralph will officiate the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 5:00 P M to 7:00 P M and Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mr. Gray passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born January 10, 1942 in Tishomingo, MS to Wren Eason Gray and Dollie Mae Wilkins Gray. He retired as a machinist at Pioneer Machinery and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and gardening. He loved collecting cars, buying old cars and selling parts, visiting the sick and visiting with his friends. Mr. Gray is survived by his son Mike Gray; 2 grandchildren, Ethan Gray and Madi Gray; his sisters, Ruth Holder, Laverda Johnson and Ruby Fondren (Bobby); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Gray; his father, Wren Gray; his mother, Dollie Wilkins Gray; his brothers, Houston Gray, Pete Gray and Junior Gray and his sisters, Gladys Dixon and Ollie Mae Austin. Pallbearers will be Dwight Johnson, Steve Johnson, Tony Fondren, Kevin Gray, Charles Puckett and Lewis Patterson. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. James Gray.
