Funeral services are set for James Edward "Ed" Bray, 82, of Corinth on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery in Burnsville, MS. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5:00pm -9:00pm and Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 9:00AM until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Bray passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born May 27, 1934 in Alcorn County, MS. He was a retired railroad worker for Burlington Northern Railroad. Ed was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Susan A. Bray of Corinth; granddaughter, Amanda Endy and husband Bryon; a great granddaughter, Jessica Endy; brother, Joe Bray of Heartwell, GA; sister, Doris Jean Cooper of Glen, MS; Special Friend, Marie Harp, step-children, nieces, nephews,other relatives and a host of friends. he is preceded in death by his wife: Drucilla Bray; father, James Robert Bray; mother, Mollie Thompson Bray; brothers, Jesse Clyde Bray and Donnie Wayne Bray and a sister, Mildred Ruth Matthews. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bray, Randy Bray, James Cooper, Jr. , Tony White, Wesley Stacy and Joshua Meyers. Honorary Pallbearer will be Drew Dance. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The National Cancer Society. Leroy Brown and Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service.
