James Van Belk

A Celebration of Life service for James Van Belk, 66 of Michie, TN, will be Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Bro. John Paul Gulledge will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, November 12, 2021 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home- East. Mr. Belk passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born December 19, 1954 in Corinth, MS to Van Travis Belk and Lois Jones Belk. He was a press operator for World Color and also worked in maintenance. James is survived by his sons, Shannon Belk and Timothy Belk; his daughter, Regina White (Timmy); 4 grandchildren, Tyler Belk, Makayla Belk, Jade Dunn and Eli Belk; his brothers, Danny Belk and Bobby Belk; his sisters, Evelyn Butler (Harry), Wilma Butler (Junior), Joyce Crum (Charlie) and Brenda Bingham (Jeff); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Van Travis Belk and his mother, Lois Jones Belk. Pallbearers will be L. J. Alexander, Butch Salmon, Jon Heslin, Shannon Belk, David Daniels and Timothy Belk. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. James Van Belk.
