James Stanley Ballard

A Celebration of Life for James Stanley Ballard, 76, of Corinth will be Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home with Charles Browning officiating. Interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will Be Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Ballard was of the Baptist faith. He was a foreman at ITT, a carpenter, plumber, electrician and all around handy man that would help anyone. He was a loving husband, father and had a very special love for his grandchildren. He was born July 3, 1938 to William Wordie Ballard and Ollie Veatrice Stuart Ballard. He went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 6, 2015. He was met in heaven by his parents; 4 brothers, Fornie Ballard, Denzle Ballard, Bester Ballard and Caldwell Ballard; three sisters, Thelma Hardin, Audra Rinehart and Joyce Lennard. His memory will be carried on by his wife, Sue Ballard; two daughters, Sharron Cox and husband Buddy of Charlotte, NC and Sheila Fletcher and husband James of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Bethany Cox, Rebekah Cox, Silas Cox and Sarah Fletcher; other relatives and a host of friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Ballard, Danny Ballard, Benny Ballard, David Rinehart, Marty Rinehart and Bruce Rinehart.
