Funeral services for Jackie Wayne McAnally, 65 of Burnsville, are set for Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in New Lebanon Cemetery in Cairo; MS. Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home. Mr. McAnally passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at NMMC- Tupelo. Born June 2, 1951 in Holcut, MS to Curtis and Irene McAnally. Jackie loved his family and to make people laugh with his unique sense of humor. He enjoyed good Christian fellowship in the Lord and always tried to witness to someone in need. Jackie was an avid outdoorsman who appreciated farming, old cars, animals and a hard days work. He took pride in the construction work that he did, helping to build the NASA facility, Tenn Tomm Waterway, Crossroads Arena, The Ole Miss Stadium Addition and many other projects. Jackie is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Aaron McAnally and Waylon McAnally and 2 sisters, Virginia Jo McAnally and Tressia Hall. He is survived by his sons, Greg McAnally and wife Nicole of Burnsville and Jack Murphy and wife Felicia of Crestview, Florida; his daughters, Christina Price and husband Jacob of North Little Rock, ARK and Kristy Hofer and husband Brandon of Diamond Head, MS; 2 grandchildren Michael Asher McAnally and Kyle Anthony Hofer; sisters, Ola Frazier and Barbara Gourley both of Iuka, MS and Wethia Howie and husband Buddy of Corinth, MS. Pallbearers will be Wayne Hall, Jason Waldrep, Greg McAnally, Wayne McAnally, Allen Crowe and Rickey Frazier. Rev. Larry Marshall and Bro. Greg McAnally will officiate the service.
