Funeral services for Jackie Keith Knighton, 66, of Corinth are Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment in Indian Creek Cemetery in Ramer, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Bro. Richard Doyle, Bro. Larry Ball and Jay Knighton will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jay Knighton, Dennis Hogan, Jerry Butler, Ricky Parker, Ricky Martin, Joel Prince, Larry Jobe and Brian Ferrell. Mr. Knighton passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Born March 30, 1956, in Corinth, MS, Jackie was a retired process expert at Kimberly Clark with 30 years of service, and a member of Life-Gate Freewill Baptist Church. He was a giving man who enjoyed going to church and loved his family and friends. He loved watching all sports, but was an avid Ole Miss fan. Jackie thoroughly enjoyed golfing and traveling.  Those left to honor Jackie’s memory include his wife of 25 years, Linda Melton Knighton; sons, Justin Knighton and Richard Mercer; daughter, Heather Knighton; grandchildren, Hayden Knighton, Preston Mercer, Chandler Mercer, Axton Mercer, and Kerrigan Godsey (Tyler); brothers, Jimmy Vann Knighton and Jerry Don Knighton (Sandra); beloved nephew, Jay Knighton (Vanessa) and their children, Oliver and Franklin; his close group of golfing friends; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Mercer and his parents, Vancy and Lillian Smith Knighton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie’s name to Life-Gate Freewill Baptist Church for new Bibles.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Jackie Keith Knighton.
