J.C. Gann, 81, of Corinth, MS passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Bro. Jason Pellizzer will officiate the service. Visitation is Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 7:00 P M to 9:00 P M and Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born August 26, 1935, Mr. Gann was the owner of Gann’s Tire and Alignment. He was a member of 1st Assembly of God. Survivors include his son, Ryan Gann and wife Shilby of Corinth, MS; his daughters, Pam Hinton and husband Joe of Corinth, MS and Patty Duke and husband Phillip of Meridian, MS; his 3 grandchildren, Ashley Gooch (Erick Coghlin) , Brooklyn Gann and Briley Gann; his 2 great-grandchildren, Leah Gooch and Autumn Coghlin; his brother Benny Gann of Corinth, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Annie Eveline Gann; his father, Robert Gann, his mother, Lizzie Page Gann and his sister Martha Grimes. Pallbearers will be Gary Mitchell, Erick Coghlin and Danny Newton. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to provide the arrangements for Mr. J.C. Gann.
