Funeral service for Ivy Louise Mathis , 84, of Memphis, TN is set for Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church Middleton, TN with burial to follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Walnut. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home and Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 11:00am until service time at First Baptist Church Middleton, TN. Born August 10, 1934 in Ripley, MS , Mrs. Mathis passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her home in Memphis, TN . She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Louise is survived by her son, Randy C. Mathis and wife Ann of Collierville, TN; daughters, Barbara Sue Harrison and husband Vincent of Wichita, Kansas, Tammy Renee Hiatt and husband Harold - Eads, TN; grandchildren, Zack Hiatt and wife Maizey, Taylor Hiatt, Rodney Harrison and wife Catherine, Jason Harrison and wife Kelly and Heather Jones and husband Sean; 5 great grandchildren, brother, Burton Meeks of Middleton, TN; sister, Doris Henry and husband Robert of Ripley, MS ; sisters and brother-in-law: Onetter Morphis of Walnut, Olivia Mathis of Walnut and Minnie and Bill Nelson of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur C. Mathis; father, Joe Meeks; mother, Lessie Crum Meeks; brothers, G. W. Meeks and Leo Meeks; sisters, Flora Walker, Flossie Mauney, Birdie Mae Meeks and Geneva Null; sisters and brothers-in-law: Carolyn Meeks, Annie Mae Meeks, Joe Morphis and Johnny Mathis. Pallbearers will be Ken Henry, Rickey Morphis, Ronnie Morphis, Luke Mathis, Rodney Harrison and Jason Harrison. Bro. Mark Mathis will officiate the service.
