Irene Elisabeth Phillips

Irene Elisabeth Phillips, 95, of Orlando, FL and formerly of Corinth, MS passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Orange County, FL.  She was born in Brussels, Belgium on March 31, 1926 to the late Louis L. Lauwers and Melanie Louise Willo Lauwers. Irene met and married her husband Franklin in Brussels and moved to the United States in 1959. She worked many years side by side with her husband as owners of Phillips Dry Cleaners and was a member of Indian Springs Methodist Church. Irene will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she loved. Visitation is scheduled from 12-2 pm Friday, February 4, 2022 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2 pm officiated by Bro. James Voyles. Interment will follow in Indian Springs Church Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home – East is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Irene’s memory include her son, Robert Phillips; her daughters, Michelle Ingram (Dan) and Luckeye Culbertson; her grandchildren, Kelli Deaton (Bobby), Hunter Phillips (Amber), Sarah Ingram, and Daniel Ingram; her great grandchildren, Journey Phillips and Jersey Phillips; other relatives and many friends.
