Hurley Essary

Hurley Bragg Essary, 86, beloved mother and grandmother, departed this life for the life everlasting on Monday, September 19, 2016, at her home. She was born August 9, 1930, to the late Ben Bragg and Alma Jones Bragg. She attended the First Church until her health declined. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family. Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2016, from 1:00 p.m.—2:00 p.m.at Magnolia Funeral Home with a family graveside service following at Forrest Memorial Park. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Ladrone Essary (Carol) and Kenneth D. Essary (Pam); two daughters, Charlotte McAlpin and Sheila Tsagarakis; four grandchildren, Clarissa Mills (Scotty), Jason Essary (Lindy), Whitney Seago (Mike), and Demmy Tsagarakis; three great-grandchildren, Carleigh Mills, Kenner Mills and Ki Seago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years,Vinice Essary; two brothers, J.L. Bragg and Vance Bragg, and three sisters, Gladys Morelock, Ruth Switcher, and Virginia Bragg. Memorials may be made to the Alcorn County Animal Shelter.
