Howard Morelock, 87, of Rienzi, MS, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was born in Alcorn County, MS on September 26, 1932 to the late Harry and Gladys Bragg Morelock and was of the Pentecostal faith. Howard was a lifelong farmer and retired after 22 years of service with King Manufacturing as a machinist. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2019 from 5-9 pm and Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 12 Noon till service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Howard’s life will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Mike Brown and Bro. Raybon Richardson. Pallbearers include Steve Morelock, Darron Morelock, Greg Morelock, Keith Kelly, Chris South, and Travis Basden. Interment will follow in Hinkle Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Howard’s memory include his wife of 66 years: Eunice Morelock of Rienzi; his son: Jeff Morelock and wife Annette of Rienzi; his daughter Rene` Estes and husband John of Rienzi; his grandchildren: Stan Morelock and wife Amber, Kayla Mercer and husband Scott, Ethan Estes and wife Barbie, and Callie Estes; his great grandchildren: Lilly Kate Morelock, Molly Grace Morelock, and Henry William Mercer; his brother: Barrion Morelock and wife Mary of Corinth; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: Howell Morelock and wife Ann and O’Neal Morelock and by his in-laws: C.B. and Maggie Kilough.
