Funeral services with Military honors for Houston Neal Brown, 76 of Corinth are set for Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Josh Westmoreland will officiate the service. Mr. Brown was born May 22, 1948 in Tyronza, ARK and passed from this life on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He attended Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Houston was a Constable before he went to work for and retired from the Alcorn County Sheriff Office.  He was a U. S. Army veteran. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed deer hunting, watching NASCAR and drag racing, watching Ole Miss and Dallas Cowboy football. Houston is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lucy Brown; son, Jason Brown and wife Jessica; grandsons, Dyllon Brown and wife Harlea and Caden Burcham; great granddaughter, Wrynlea Jean Brown; brothers, Jerry Brown (Ann), Jimmy Brown (Colleen), Clayton Brown (Stacy) and Bobby Brown (Donna); sisters, Louise Burrell, Frances Bobo, Barbara Hall, Shirley Smith and Myrtle Bishop (David); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, P. H. Brown and his mother, Artie Brown. The family wishes to say Thank You to Dr. Leonard Pratt, West Clinic, Dr. Sameer Nasir and Dr. Paul Volansky.
