Helen Maxine Meter

Helen Meter, 93, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at her residence in Counce, TN. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Counce, TN. Prior to service there will be a visitation from 11:00 AM--1:00 PM. Burial with Military Honors will follow at White Sulphur Cemetery, Pickwick, TN. She was born on April 22, 1924, in Marshall, MO She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of First Baptist Church, Counce,TN. She was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. She is survived by her sons: Gary Lewis Meter and Wife Katrina, of Holly Springs, and Robert Eugene Meter and Wife Jean, of Counce, TN; Grandchildren: Garrett Meter and wife Cinda, Beau Meter, Brodie Meter and wife Amber, Keith Schumann and wife JoAnn and Kirk Schumann; Great-Grandchildren: Gavin Meter, Gracie Davidson, Alydia Meter, River Meter, Lily Schumann and Jocey Schumann; Sister: Daisy Lorance of Auburn, California; Daughter-In-Law, Beverly Meter Younger and husband Bob; Granddaughter-In-Law: Earla Jackson Meter, along with other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Grover Lewis Meter; Father: Orville Smith; Mother: Reta Bacon Smith; Brother: Orville Smith and Sister: Beverly Reece. Pallbearers will be Gary Meter, Robert Meter, Brodie Meter, Gavin Meter, Beau Meter, Kirk Schumann, and Garrett Meter. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bob Younger. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the Meter Family.
