A Celebration of Life for Helen O. McNutt, 89 of Burnsville, MS, will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 3:00 P M at Snowdown Church of Christ in Burnsville, MS with Minister Donald Green and Minister Chad Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Snowdown Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M and Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 1:00 P M until service time at Snowdown Church of Christ.
Mrs. McNutt passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born February 3, 1928 in Prentiss County to the late Blunt M. Woodruff and Johnnie Pierce Woodruff. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of Snowdown Church of Christ. She was the owner of the Frosty Mug and she retired from the Tishomingo Educational System as a lunchroom cook.. She is survived by her son ,Cecil Ronnie McNutt and wife Dorsie Elaine of Burnsville, MS; her daughters, Freida M. Lentz and husband Orby E. of Booneville, MS and Judy Lynn Jackson of Iuka, MS; her seven grandchildren, Missy Loden and husband Tug, Leslie Jackson and wife Tina, Joey McNutt and wife Susan, Michael Jackson and wife Stacey, Mindy McNutt, Nathan Jackson and Ronnie McNutt; her 10 great-grandchildren; her brothers, W.J. Woodruff of Raleigh, NC and Hayden Woodruff and wife Earlene of Booneville, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Jeff" McNutt; her father, Blunt M. Woodruff; her mother, Johnnie Piece Woodruff and her sisters, Mildred Moss and Weatha Davis. Pallbearers will be Leslie Jackson, Michael Jackson, Nathan Jackson, Joey McNutt, Ronnie McNutt and Tug Loden. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Helen O. McNutt.
