Funeral services for Helen Ruth Holt, 88, of Corinth, MS are set for Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:30am at Magnolia Funeral Home - East, with interment in Corinth National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 5pm-7pm and Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10:30am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST.  Bro. Tommy Vinson and Bro. Dyer Harbor will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Mark Holt, Jeff Holt, Keith Holt, Tony Hurst, Brad Holt, Hal Horton, Aidan Holt and Damien Harbin. Born May 9, 1934 in Tishomingo County, MS., Mrs. Holt passed away on January 29, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a retired sales clerk for Sears and Roebuck and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Helen was a 1952 graduate of Corinth High School and enjoyed traveling to the beach and mountains every year, doing word search puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Those left to cherish Helen's memory include her sons, Lanny Holt and Randy Holt and wife Susan all of Corinth; daughter, Tammy Holt of Tuscumbia, AL; 3 grandchildren, Carleigh Holt Harbin and husband Damien of Oxford, Aidan Holt and Michaela Holt both of Corinth; her companion, her shih tzu, Louie; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charles E. Holt; father, Edgar Williams; mother, Alma Williams; brothers, Alton Williams and Kenneth Williams; and her sisters, Irene Bolton and Lorene McDougal. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, LeBonheur Childrens Hosptial or a local church of your choice.
