Halbert Junior Crum

A Celebration of Life service for Halbert Junior Crum, 70 of Corinth is set for Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2:00pm with burial at Brigman Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 12:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born March 16, 1948 in Burnsville, MS., Junior passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at his home. He was a retired county road worker for Alcorn County 2nd District. Junior loved his family and friends,being outside and Alcorn Central Bears. He never met a stranger and enjoyed fishing, hunting, coaching softball and watching softball. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Betty Crum of Corinth; daughters, Rhonda Crum Broad and husband Bill of Iuka and Melissa Barnes and husband Jamie of Corinth; honorary daughter, Heather Oaks and husband Lee of Corinth; grandchildren, Blake Lamberth, Brianna Barnes and Carlie Barnes; great grandchildren, Kneilee Lamberth and Adlee Lamberth; brothers, Jerry Crum and wife Cynthia of Arlington, TN and David Crum and wife Bobbie of Corinth; sister, Linda Wood of Corinth; other relatives and a host of friends. Junior is preceded in death by his father, Halbert N. "Butch" Crum; mother, Lula Crouch Crum and brothers, Eugene "Hotchie" Crum and Dwight Crum. Pallbearers will be Tyler Peters, Bradley Bray, Matthew Wood, Daniel Crum, Lane Crum and Ellis Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Lanny Roach, Tony Moss, Keven Moss and James Voyles. Bro. Wayne Crum and Bro. Bob Harris will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Halbert Junior Crum.
