Gregory Joe Sanders

Gregory Joe Sanders, 52, of Booneville, Mississippi, died Friday, May 1, 2015, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a lifetime member of the American Legion and the VFW and a technician for a cable company. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2015 and from Noon till service time on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Osborn Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Osborn Creek Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. John Cagle with the eulogy by Mike Darracott. Interment with military honors will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kirk Alderson, Chris Brackeen, John Carter, Justin Hatfield, Steve Simpson, Sheldon Bull and Benny Gilley. Honorary pallbearers include Mike Darracott. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his mother: Camellia Alderson Carter and husband Keith of Booneville, MS his father: Joe Sanders and wife Georgia of Tucson, AZ; a sister: Vicki Sanders Adams and husband Alvin of Booneville, MS; his step sisters: Belinda Carter of Lagrange, OH, Ginny Wesebaum and husband David of Sheffield Village, OH, Terri Amoto of Houston, TX, Toni Priest of Elyria, OH and Suzanne Amoto of Pasadena, TX; his step brother: John Carter and wife Penny of Fromberg, MT; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: James and Gertrude Alderson; his paternal grandparents: John Roger and Mattie Bell Sanders; his step brothers: Eddie Carter and Marc Amoto.
