Greg England, 71, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. He was born in Corinth, MS on September 25, 1947 to the late B. A. England Jr. and Elaine Meeks England. Greg was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was employed as a finance manager for many years. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 12-2 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Charlie Browning and Greg Perkins. Pallbearers include Greg Perkins, Stanley Potts, Hal Clements, Bobby Gorman, Mike McClamroch, Larry Dillinger, Tony Woodall, and Dan Lee. Interment with military honors will follow in Henry Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Greg’s memory include the mother of his children: Sandy England of Southaven, MS; his daughters: Michelle Lewis of Olive Branch, MS and Paige Downs of Nesbit, MS; his grandchildren: Colt Burns, Carley Burns, Tucker Downs and Tate Downs; his brothers: Brian England (Carolyn) of Millington, TN and Hal England of Corinth; his sister: Jan Dillingham (Mike) of Corinth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: B.A England Jr. and Elaine Meeks England; his brother: Sam Shunalt; and by his sister: Emily England.
