Glenda Frances Little Moore, 84, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Cornerstone Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corinth, MS. Services will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 4pm, at Magnolia Funeral Home Highway 72 East Chapel with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Dr. Leonard Pratt will be officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 2pm -4pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Pallbearers are Jeff Little, Mark Little, Rodney Little, Scotty Little, James Little, Cliff Little, Chip Peterson and Brent Wickersham.
As a child she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Glen, MS. Later in life she moved her membership to the Methodist Church. She attended Indian Springs Methodist Church in Glen, MS. She loved playing the piano, church fellowships, attending Biggersville basketball games, watching Family Feud, cooking and cleaning, playing with her animals, working in her yard, but mostly caring for others, especially her family. She was a fifth-grade teacher at Thrasher School and later served as Title One Director of Prentiss County Schools.
Ms. Moore is survived by her son, Billy Mitchell Moore; granddaughter Sarah Grace Stephens (Carlen); soon to be Great-Granddaughter and namesake, Ivy Frances Stephens; four brothers, Taft Little, Travis Little (Doris), Jerry Little (Joyce), and Harold Little (Ann); sister, Peggy Little Wickersham; special friends, Christy Farris, mother of her granddaughter, and Emileigh Robbins (AJ); sisters in laws, Annette Jackson and Alberta Little Fleming and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ms. Moore is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Moore; parents, TA (Arch) Little and Velma Kilcrease Little; brothers, James Little (Carolyn), Thurston Little (Helen), Bobby Little (Wanza), and Billy Little; infant sister Neva Doris Little; brothers in laws, Mike Wickersham, Bobby Moore (Margaret Faye), and Paul Jackson; and in laws Carl and Blanche Moore.
