A Celebration of Life Memorial service for Geraldine Butler, 75 of Corinth is set for Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 6:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Born May 2, 1944 in Corinth, MS Geraldine passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her home in Corinth. She is a homemaker and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Geraldine is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles “Charlie” Butler of Corinth, MS; daughters, Carol Anne Droke and husband Mark of Ringgold, GA, Dena Foster and husband Steve of Eads, TN and Lindsay Butler of Memphis, TN; 4 grandchildren, Rosston Droke, Rachel Anne Droke, Zachary Foster and Emily Foster; brothers, Patrick “Bud” Ross of Irving, Texas and Larry Ross and wife Sherry of Corinth, MS; sister, Irma Dot Le Bas of Sacramento, California; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, James "Jim" Henry Ross; mother, Ludie D. Perkins Ross; brothers, Henry Thomas Ross, Roy Ross, John Ross, Herman Ross, Hugh Donald Ross; and sisters, Vernell Parsons, Lou V. Stone, Mary Ellen “Boots” Simmons, Billie Janette Omstead and Alice Fay Franks. Rosston Droke, Bro. John Rush and Bro. Dyer Harbor will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorial donations be made to the 20/20 Building Fund, Oakland Baptist Church, 1101 S. Harper Road, Corinth, MS 38834.
