Gerald C. Curry Gerald C. Curry, 69, formerly of Corinth, presently of Hardin County, TN, left this life on Sunday, July 15, 2012. His friends at Magnolia Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements with visitation on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 5:00pm -9:00pm and Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 11:00am until service time. The service will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will be at Rockhill Apostolic Church Cemetery. Mr. Curry was born October 3, 1942 to Gordon C. and Mary Almedia Isbell Curry. On October 2, 1961, he was married to and begin a new life with Betty Sue Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Patricia Ann Curry, his grandparents, Grover C. and Nettie Azalee Hinson Curry and Hezzicar and Elizabeth Curtis Isbell. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty; his daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Terry Scott of Corinth, MS; his sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Donna Curry of Cairo, MS and Gerald Wayne and Judy Curry of Birmingham, AL. He also leaves behind 5 grandsons, Terry (Bo) Scott and wife Gretchen of Pensacola, FL; Chris Scott and wife Rebecca of Arab, AL; Tim Curry and wife Jenny of Cordova, TN; Jay Curry and wife Kaitlyn of Detroit, MI and Gideon Curry and Fiancée Audree Reese of Corinth, MS.; 3 Granddaughters, Haley and Hope Curry of Cairo, MS and Terra Curry Aversa and husband T. J. of Birmingham, AL; 3 Great Grandchildren, Marlee Piper Morgan Scott of Arab, AL; Zyla Azalee Scott of Pensacola, FL. And Stella Lucia Curry of Cordova, TN.; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, David Curry and wife Sherre of Corinth, MS and Harry Curry and wife Tina of Baker, LA and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and so very many friends. He was loved by many and will be Greatly missed. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed entertaining for Nursing Homes, Churches, Benefits and for any family gatherings and caring for his many animals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gerald C. Curry Memorial Fund at Commerce National Bank of Corinth.
