A graveside service for George Hoyt “Judge” Wade, 79 of Burnsville is set for Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Jacinto Church of Christ Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Minister Scott Baggett and Minister Danny Rogers will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Pine Vale Children’s Home. Born July 27, 1941 in Holcut, MS, Hoyt passed away after a brief illness at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo on Friday, May 7, 2021. He is a member of Jacinto Church of Christ and a retired truck driver. Hoyt is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan Wade of Burnsville, MS; daughters, Charlotte Morris and husband Steve of Iuka, MS and Kristi Baggett and husband Scott of Fayette, AL son, Tim Wade and wife Karen of Saltillo, MS; 7 grandchildren, Jade Newcomb, Haley Nikolaj and husband Niko, Jesse Morris, Lorraine Wade, Clara Baggett, Greta Wade and Camille Wade; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Cotton Wade and wife Maxine of Iuka, Mackey Wade and wife Margaret of Fulton; sister, Vonceil Enlow of Kevil, Kentucky; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Oren L. Wade; mother, Hester Armstrong Wade; stepmother, Raydee McBride Wade; brothers, Doyle Wade, Jim Wade, Harold Dean Wade, Joseph Darrell Wade and Infant Wade and his sister, Myra Underwood.
