Gary Triplett

Doyal Gary Triplett, 76, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Magnolia Regional Health Center.  His service is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Magnolia Funeral Home East.  Rev. Michael Page will officiate the service and Bro. Joseph Burcham deliver the eulogy.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, October 28, 2022 and from 11:00 am until service time Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Pallbearers will be Staff Sgt. Dena Triplett, Hunter Barkes, Bryon Barkes, Scott Smith, Scott Johnson and Shane Shinar.  Burial will be at Christ Gospel Church Cemetery with Military Honors.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired Security Guard.  He was of the Christian Faith, and enjoyed fishing, playing his harmonica, hunting, watching westerns, and traveling.  Doyal loved playing with his Grandchildren. He is survived by two sons: James Triplett (Sofia Liv) and Doyal Abbott (Brenda), one daughter: Tina Hamlin, seven grandchildren: Dena Triplett (Tanielle), Hunter Barkes (Lanie), Bryon Barkes, Skyler Hamlin, Kyle Abbott (Anna), Logan Abbott, and Angelina Triplett; and one great-grandchild, Kaleb Abbott, step stepsons, Joseph Burcham (Belinda), Thomas Burcham, and Chris Brailey (Amy); several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Triplett and Beatrice Hutcheson Triplett; wife, Brenda Triplett; brothers:  J.C. Easter, Wayne Triplett and Jackie Triplett.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Doyal Gary Triplett.
