Funeral services for Garah Jean Wicks Brown , 79 of Savannah, TN are set for 2 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Hinkle Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5 -8pm and Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 1pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown died Friday, October 7, 2016 at Savannah Health Care and Rehab Center. Born April 14, 1937 in Corinth, MS she was a retired factory worker and of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include her husband of 62 years: J. R. Lee Brown – Savannah, TN; daughters: Sherry Brown Morgan – Conroe, TX; Melissa Brown Blaschke and husband Glen – Nashville, TN;grandchildren: Brandon Morgan and wife Rebecca, Hannah Morgan and Lauren LeBlanc and fiancé Josh Nabors; 2 great grandchildren: half brother: Danny Dilworth and wife Sue Ann- Rienzi, MS;half Sister: Dolores Stone and husband Billy- Corinth, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her mother: Ruby Bridges Wicks; step father: Robert Wicks and her brothers: Jimmy Wicks and Larry Wicks. Bro. Gerald Duncan will officiate the service.
