Freddie Joe Owens

A Memorial Service for Freddie Joe Owens, 62 of Glen, MS, is set for Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Owens passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his companion, Frances Grindle of Glen, MS; a daughter, Kelcey Whitworth and husband Justin of Glen, MS ; a granddaughter, Paisley Whitworth; a sister, Linda G. Grissom of Booneville, MS; three brothers, Larry E. Owens and wife Charlotte of Booneville, MS, Framond L. Owens and wife Barbara of Iuka, MS and Steve J. Owens and wife Tammie of Rienzi, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James Wilburn Owens; his mother, Lula Mack Michaels Owens; four brothers, James Darrell Owens, Wayne Carroll Owens, Tommy O'Neil Owens and Ricky Dale Owens. Pastor William Copeland will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Freddie Joe Owens.
