A Celebration of Life service for Freda Delane Taylor Hurt, 44 of Booneville, MS is set for Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Burnsville Tabernacle in Burnsville, MS with interment in Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iuka. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM until service time at Burnsville Tabernacle. Born May 12, 1975 in Chicago, IL, Freda passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a cook at Cafe St. Claire for many years. Freda was of the Christian faith and a member of Burnsville Tabernacle. To know her was to lover her, she was known for her loving heart for everyone including her dog, "Claire Bear" and all of her foster children. Freda was a best friend to many because her arms were always open to all. She was the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and niece. Freda fought many health obstacles but she never gave up because she always put her faith in God. God needed her now, so Fly high Freda. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Malone Hurt of Booneville; sons: Josh Hurt and Chris Hurt both of Booneville; daughter: Hayleigh Hurt of Booneville; parents: Roger and Margaret Taylor of Iuka; brother, Richard Taylor of Iuka; sisters: Amanda Taylor (Roger) and Angela Benitez (Rafael) all of Iuka; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Owens (Billy) of Amory, MS; dear friends: Gena Spoon, Kim Hunt, Madelyne Rainbolt, Susan Compton, Tabitha Newcomb, Brett Compton and Theresa Clement, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Freda is preceded in death by her brother, Roger Taylor, Jr; sister, Helen Taylor and her grandparents: Phillip and Freda Taylor and Helen Rogers. Pallbearers will be Roger Harris, Roger Wilson, Johnathon Haley, David Spoon, Joe Miller and Riley Compton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rafael Benitez and Eleazar Benitez. Bro.
