Frank Crow

Mr. Frank Crow, 80, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at his residence. There will be a Celebration of Life Service held on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at 11:30 AM, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with Military Honors. Bro. Jimmy Lancaster and Pastor Jeff Haynie will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Corinth National Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:30 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Crow was born in Alcorn County, MS, on January 23, 1939. He was a retired Security Guard at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Mr. Crow was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Mission. He retired after 20 years of service as a U.S. Navy Veteran. As a Veteran of the Vietnam War, he made six Far East Cruises on the USS Enterprise CVN-65: including when it exploded in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in 1969. He was a member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, and The American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, watching cooking shows, and watching Walker, Texas Ranger. Eating at "The Dinner Bell" was another thing he really enjoyed. Mr. Crow is survived by his wife of 55 years: Ruth Wilbanks Crow of Corinth; daughters: Betty Annette Crow Smith and husband Kenneth of Fond Du Lac, WI; Cheryl Crow Essary of Corinth; and Amanda Dawn Crow Garlow and husband Gary of Fond Du Lac, WI; four grandchildren: Michelle Malone Nickerson and husband Jamie, Felisha Ann Smith, Justin Frank Garlow and Matthew Jon Garlow; five great-grandchildren: Caden Ethan Hyde, Adrian Frank Nickerson, Lilly Heimstra, Carly Michelle Nickerson, and Phoebe Star Smith; brother: Leroy "Buddy" Crow of Corinth; sister: Clemmie Katherine Huff of Corinth; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father; Gordon Crow; mother: Ethel Irene Joyce Crow; brothers: Myron Gershen "Nooty" Crow, Robert Earl "Bob" Crow and Freeman "Jim" Atkinson; and sister: Juanita Knight. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Frank Crow.
