Frances Williams

Frances Williams, 77, of Corinth, MS was called from this life to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at StoneRidge of Farmington. She was born in Benton County, MS on March 12, 1944 to the late Clinton and Lillian Jones Wilbanks and was a Christian of the Baptist faith. Frances worked at Wurlitzer and later retired as a pharmacy stock clerk at Walmart. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed gardening and cooking. A dedicated grandmother and loyal friend to many, she was loved by all who knew her. Magnolia Funeral Home – 72 East of Corinth is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 pm Saturday, December 11, 2021and from 12 pm till service time Sunday, December 12, 2021at Magnolia Funeral Home – 72 East. A Celebration of Frances’s life will be held at 1 pm Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel officiated by Dr. Leonard Pratt and Bro. Joe Marsh. Pallbearers include Tanner Sparks, Robby Blackard, Roger Rebstock, Bobby Benefield, Brooks Pratt, Brady Pratt, and David Jarnagin. Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. Frances will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her son, James M. Shaw (Cindy); her daughter, Anita Pratt (Leonard); her grandchildren, Shelby Pratt Sparks (Tanner), Joseph Brooks Pratt (Gracie), Brady Harrison Pratt, Charles Robert Blackard (Audrey), and Michael Ray (Corrina); her great grandchildren, Vivian Grace Pratt and Eleanor Collins Sparks; her sisters, Patrician Benefield (Bobby), Brenda Boyd, and Linda Wilbanks; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Thompson; her second husband, Rubel Leon Williams; and her brothers, Roger David, Billy Ray, James Arthur, and Kenneth Wayne Wilbanks.
