Funeral services for Frances Marie Smith, 78 of Corinth are set for Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 3:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Precious Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 11, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 12:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Marie was born August 13, 1941 in Alcorn County, MS and passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Marie is survived by her sister, Glenda Sue Purvis of Corinth; her nieces and nephews, Jackie Crum and husband Rickey of Walnut, Cindy Goldman and husband Jerry of Birmingham, AL, Johnny Purvis and wife Cindy of Corinth, Missy Wilbanks and husband James of Walnut and Tim Wooley and wife Amy of Walnut; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, M. C. Smith; father, Clinton Whitlow Rogers; mother, Dorothy Mae Peak Rogers and brothers, James Harold Rogers and Kenneth Earl Rogers. Pallbearers will be Wyatt Bayless, Cole Wilbanks, Weston Bayless, Jake Crum, Landon King, James Wilbanks and Shane Bayless. Rev. Merl Dixon will officiate the service.
