Frances Marie Shaw

Funeral service for Frances Shaw, 78 of Corinth are set for Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with burial in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 5pm-8pm and Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST.  Bro. Daniel Derrick will officiate the service. Born December 12, 1946 in Rienzi, MS., Mrs. Frances passed from this life on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at MS Care Center in Corinth. She was a member of North Corinth Baptist Church and a retired nurses aid.  She loved her family and spending time with them and enjoyed fishing, camping and going to dirt track races. Frances is survived by her daughter, Tammy Shaw; 2 grandchildren, Billy Chelmowski (Katie) and Tommy Chelmowski (Gloria); 4 great grandchildren, Joanna Chelmowski, Lilly Chelmowski, Braileigh Chelmowski and Adelaide Chelmowski; sisters, Helen Glidewell (Billy) and Flora Brand; several nieces, nephews , other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Billy Shaw; sons, Duane Shaw and Chris Shaw; father, Calvin Evetts; mother, Cordia Wamsley Evetts; brothers, Garvin Evetts, Leonard Evetts, J. C. Evetts and Millard Evetts and her sister, Reba Flanagan.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Frances Shaw.
