Funeral services for Frances Smith Farris, 83, of Corinth are set for Tuesday. November 26, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Rodney Whittemore and Bro. Ralph Culp will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Joe Doty, Baxter James, Norman Borden, Jeff Gardner, Brian Gardner and Mark Gardner. Mrs. Farris passed from this life on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born January 2, 1941 in Guys, TN to the late Tom and Katie McClain Smith. Frances was a member of East Corinth Baptist Church where she was the church treasurer to 20 years. She was retired with 39 years of service as a customer service rep. for ACE Power. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed attending sporting events, such as basketball games of her daughter , Ole Miss Football games, decorating her home, cooking and painting pottery. Those left to honor Frances' memory include her husband of 66 years, Aaron Farris; daughter, Cassie Farris; her brother, Dan Smith; special friends, Gail Doty, Betty James and Peggy Gardner; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Tom Smith; mother, Kate Smith; brothers, Tommy Smith and Jim Smith and her sister, Ann Bennett. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Frances Smith Farris.
