A memorial service for Frances Augusta Bradshaw, 97 of Corinth is set for Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 3:00pm at Waldron Street Christian Church. Born February 24, 1922 in Charleston, South Carolina, Frances passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2020 at Whitfield Nursing Home in Corinth, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Waldron Street Christian Church. Frances is survived by sons, Ted C. Avant and wife Marie of Corinth and Hugh “Kacky” C. Avant and wife Joyce of Cummings, GA and Larry Travious Avant – Shannon, MS; 7 grandchildren, Teresa A. Wilkins and husband Keith, Lanette Avant, Teddy Avant and wife Christie, Lonnie T. Avant and wife Cindy, Todd A, Avant and wife Marie, Melanie A. Tillman and husband Joey and Dena A. Dupeire and husband Joey; 13 great grandchildren, Allison W. Smith and husband Mark, Courtney W. Cartwright, Brooke W. Wilbanks and husband Eric. Aaron H. Avant, Caleb Avant, C.J. Avant, Mary Avant, Jimmy French, Jordyn Tillman, Mason Tillman, Piper Tillman, Logan Dupeire and Caden Dupeire; 6 great great-grandchildren, Cooper J. Cartwright, Millie Marie Smith, Hallie Beth Smith, Marley Jean Wilbanks, Colton Avant and Ella Avant; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Lonnie Hugh Avant; granddaughter, Mitzi Marie Avant; mother, Ola Hoats Mitchum; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Pastor James "Chuck" Hassell, Jr. will officiate the service.
