A Celebration of Life for Floyd Allen Byrd, 72 of Ramer, TN, will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Keith King and Bro. Randy Isbell will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M and Friday, October 13, 2017 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Byrd passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was born in Marion County, VA to John Floyd Byrd and Bernice Isbell Byrd. Floyd was employed for several years as a butcher at Isbell Meat Market and was retired as a machinist after 27 years of service at Tyrone. He was of the Christian faith. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Glenda Latch Byrd of Ramer, TN; his four sons, Steven Floyd Byrd and wife Doretta of Selmer, TN, Henry Lee Byrd of Ramer, TN, Allen Glen Byrd of Ramer, TN and Chad Sebring and wife Reane of Corinth, MS; his six grandchildren, Lance Byrd, Justin Byrd, Tanner Byrd, Dakota Brooks, Roger Chaney and wife Michelle and Billy Chaney: two great-grandsons, Hayden Byrd and Hunter Byrd; five sisters, Betty Davis and husband Gene of Chicago, Il, Faye Bain of Corinth, MS, Jane Climer of Corinth, MS, Mary Moore and husband Mike of Blue Springs, MO and Emma Hammersmith and husband Terry of Joliet, IL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Floyd Byrd, his mother, Bernice Isbell Byrd; his brothers: Opal Isbell, William Byrd, Sr. and Tommy Byrd; and his sister, Hazel Phillips. Pallbearers will be Michael Isbell, Johnny Jarnigan, James Jarnigan, Franklin Jarnigan, Trey Kinkennon and Preston Hembree. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Everett, Leon Tatum, Willie Jarnigan and All of His Friends Who Worked With Him. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Floyd Allen Byrd.
