Biographical Information Date of Birth: December 1, 1928 Employment/Occupation: When her and Mr. Jack got married they moved to New York City where she worked at Gimbel’s Department Store as a switch board operator and after he got out of the service they moved back to Corinth and she worked at Wurlitzer and ITT. She was best known as the owner of Holt’s Restaurant for 32 years. Church Affiliation: She was a member of Tate Baptist Church. Education: She graduated from Ramer High School and her senior year she was elected “Basketball Queen” Mrs. Fleta was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the center of the family and the glue that kept them together. She was a strong Christian woman and a very selfless person, always putting others needs in front of hers. She was a strong spirited woman. She loved gardening, it was her refuge. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and taking care of them and she was a GREAT cook.
