A Celebration of Life service for Evelyn Belle Hammond, 93 of Corinth is set for Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Tate Baptist Church with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Birmingham, AL. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 12:00 noon until service time at Tate Baptist Church. Born December 8, 1924 Evelyn was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling and was active at the Bishop Center. She attended Tate Baptist Church and was a member of the Faith Sunday School Class. Evelyn was survived by her husband of 10 years, Jack Nanney of Corinth, MS; daughter-in-law, Virgie Ray-Hammond of Meridian, MS; brother-in-law Virgil Fuson of Tiger, GA; grandchildren, Keith Hammond and wife Paulette, Bryan Hammond and wife Shelley, and Alisa Hammond; great grandchildren Christen Hammond, Heather Sanders and husband Caleb, and David Hammond; great great grandchildren Hazel Sanders and Samson Sanders. She is proceeded in death by her son Winford Hammond; her first hunsband Milton Hammond, and her sister Faye Fuson. Bro. Mickey Trammel will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Keith Hammond, Brian Hammond, Rickey Murphy, Carl Weeden, Richard Tenhet and Jack Stewart. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Evelyn Belle Hammond.
