Eula Wilburn Thompson, 98, of Corinth, Mississippi, died Sunday, February 1, 2015, at her residence. She was born on July 30, 1916. She was a longtime member of Kossuth Church of Christ and a homemaker. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 and from 10 AM until service time on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Minister Jerry Childs. Interment will follow in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Family members will serve as Pallbearers. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include a son: David Wayne Thompson and wife Sandra of Crump, TN; 2 daughters: Sandra Kay Settlemires and husband Kenneth of Walnut, MS and Kathy Thompson of Corinth, MS; 5 grandchildren: David Leon Settlemires and wife Shelly, David matthew Thompson, Laura Beth Thompson, Sarah Alicia Thompson and Mary Ann Hudson; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: David Henry Thompson; her parents: Olen Candler Wilburn and Azzie R. Cook Wilburn; a son: Henry Wade Thompson; 6 brothers: Eldridge A. Wilburn, Eldridge Candler (Buster) Wilburn, Arthur Elzie (Younk) Wilburn, James Elbert Wilburn, Hosea Monroe Wilburn and Raymond Cook Wilburn; 3 sisters: Syble Jane Henderson, Katie Mae Clements and Lavada Dees.
