Funeral services for Ethel "Bit" Brawner-Leatherwood, 90 of Corinth are set for Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 10:00am-11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born December 23, 1927 in Corinth, MS, Bit retired from Bellsouth as a customer service rep and was a member of First Assembly of God Church Corinth. She loved her family and enjoyed going to church, attending her grandchildren's ballgames, cooking and socializing with her friends. Bit is survived by her son, Kenneth Brawner and wife Becky of Corinth; daughter, Robbie Brawner Ouzts and husband Jim of Smyrna, GA; 6 grandchildren, Nick Brawner, Morgan Boggs and husband Lee, Jordan Brawner, Keb Brawner, Jon Ouzts and Sherry Ouzts Burkett and husband Jeff; 2 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Bit is preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Paul T. Leatherwood; 1st husband and father of her children, Robert E. Brawner; son, Bobby Brawner; father, Reid Bynum; mother, Ethel Carpenter Bynum; brother, Murry Bynum and half sister, Kathryn Carter. Bro. Jason Pellizzer will officiate the service.
