Mary Estelle Crabb Gann, 98, of Corinth, MS, passed away after a short illness on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in Prentiss County, MS on December 19, 1919 to the late Oscar and Cleora Penny Crabb and graduated from New Site High School. Estelle began her teaching career at New Site, MS where she also coached a basketball team and was a teacher at Alcorn Central Schools for many years. She was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ. Estelle will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 10 AM until service time Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Estelle's life will be held at 11 am Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Charles Curtis. Joseph Howie and Kent Howie will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Little Brown Cemetery in New Site, MS. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Estelle's memory include her husband of 76 years: C.A. Gann; her son: John Gann of Iuka, MS; her daughters: Joyce Anderson of Atlanta, GA and Deborah Proctor of Salem, Oregon; four grandchildren: Kent Howie, Joseph Howie, Robin Swartz, and Mary Frances Case; six great-grandchildren: Sarah Howie, Ashley Herd, Johnathan Murphy, Braden Howie, Ethan Howie, and Hudson Howie; other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters: Gladys Harmon, Alene Fenter, Lucille Graham, and Ruth Conners; and her brothers: O.C. Crabb, Randle Crabb, and Gerald Crabb.
