Ernest Lee Daniels

A memorial service for Ernest Lee Daniels, 79 of Counce, TN is set for Tuesday, January 30,2018 at 6:00pm at First Baptist Church Counce, TN. Mr. Daniels passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah. Born July 24, 1938 in Black Oak, Arkansas, Ernest attended First Baptist Church of Counce. He was a retired U. S. Army Major. Mr. Daniels' loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, tending to his chickens, playing cards, watching NASCAR and hanging out with his friends, "The Good Ole Boys" and helping them with their various charity work. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jimmie Daniels of Counce; sons, David Lee Daniels and wife Linda of Roxboro, N. C. and Dennis Edward Daniels and wife Tammy of Roxboro, N. C. ; daughter, Diane Avent and husband Kevin of South Boston, VA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Bobby Luther Daniels of Wylie, Texas; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Luther Daniels; mother, Zella Lee Manley Daniels; brother, Calvin Daniels and a sister, Virginia Smith. Bro. Jimmie McChristail will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Ernest Lee Daniels.
