Emily Teague Crabb, 53, of Ramer, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Methodist Hospice in Memphis, TN. She was born in Corinth, MS on November 29, 1963 to Benny and Brylene Teague, graduated from McNairy Central High School in 1982 and from Blue Mountain College in 1986. Emily was a member of Chewalla Baptist Church and served the McNairy County School system for 30 years as a teacher. She will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she loved. Visitation is scheduled for 5-9 PM Friday, August 4, 2017 and from 10 AM till service time Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Emily's life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Richard Doyle and Dr. Charles Fowler. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers include Phillip Hollingsworth, Jim Harrison, Jesse Harrison, Nathan Howell, James Howell, Van McMahan, Chris Whitten, and Keith Rinehart. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Emily's memory include her husband of 13 years: Terry Crabb of Ramer, TN; her children: Hannah Sims and husband Brandon of Michie, TN, Jordan Gillentine and wife Caroline of Starkville, MS, Thomas Jacob Prather of Ramer, TN, and Mary Beth Prather of Memphis, TN; her parents: Benny and Brylene Teague of Ramer, TN; her grandchildren: Carter Sims, Hayley Sims, and Haddon Gillentine; her brother: Bart Teague and wife Audra of Humboldt, TN; her sister: Delise Teague of Ramer, TN; a niece, two nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Cecil and Lou Teague and by her maternal grandparents: Bryant and Earlene Hardin.
