Ellis Ray Wright

A Celebration of Life service for Ellis Ray Wright, 77 of Burnsville, MS, will be Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Lovejoy Cemetery. Bro. Rayburn Richardson will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 P M until 9:00 P M and Friday, March 15, 2019 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Wright passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his residence in Burnsville, MS. He was born September 29, 1941 in Prentiss County, MS to Hubert Ellis Wright and Edna Lillian McAnally Wright. He worked in the maintenance department at Magnolia Regional Health Center and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren - they were his life. He loved spending time outside mowing. Ellis is survived by his son, Tim Wright (Christy) of Burnsville, MS; his daughter, Angie Lee (Scott) of Burnsville, MS; 5 grandchildren, Eric Wright (Kara), Brad Lee (April), Clint Lee (Diana), Derek Wright and Kalee Smith (Corey); 9 great-grandchildren, Shelby Wright, Lane Wright, Drake Lee, Jaylen Lee, Avery Lee, Jase Lee, Layton Wadkins, Lillie Smith and Azlyn Smith; his brother James Wright (Paula) of Corinth, MS; his sister, Shirley Bain of Corinth, MS; special friend, Betty Gilmore of Burnsville, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Wright; his father, Hubert Ellis Wright; his mother, Edna Lillian McAnally Wright and his sister, Patricia Huggins. Pallbearers will be Derek Wright, Eric Wright, Clint Lee and Brad Lee. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Ellis Ray Wright.
