Eleanor Roden passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS at the age of 70. She was born April 14, 1940 to the late Jake & Lillie Cornelius Austin in MS. She was retired from Alcorn County Care Inn where she was employed as a C.N.A. She loved working in her flowers, her dog Mykero, traveling and her family. She was the kindest sweetest person you could ever meet. She was a “Pink Lady” at Magnolia Regional Health Center with 1500 volunteer hours. She loved her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren with all her heart and would tell each of them they were her favorite. She is survived by her Husband of over 53 years: James Roden – Corinth, MS; Daughters: Dianne Timbes & husband Chip – Corinth, MS; Darlene Isbell & friend Jeff Holland – Glen, MS; Sherry Robbins & husband Allen – Mooreville, MS; Sons: Ronnie Roden & wife Angelia – Selmer, TN; Scotty Roden & friend Lori Allen – Middleton, TN; Sister: Dot Oaks – Memphis, TN ; Grandchildren (13): T.J. Gray, Brandon Wilbanks & wife Trisha, Merideth Timbes, D.J.
