Funeral service for Elbert Ray Stevens, 77 of Corinth is set for Friday at Magnolia Funeral Home with burial in Corinth National Cemetery. Due to the pandemic and out of concern for the family and friends services will be private. Born December 13, 1942 in Corinth, MS, Ray passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. Ray was a retired assembly operator at Caterpillar. He was also a retired Master SGT with the U.S. Air Force. Ray is survived by his wife of 44 years, Christa Stevens of Glen; sons, Bryan Stevens and wife Laura of Boynton Beach, FL, Blane Stevens and wife Penny of Rienzi, MS, Tony DeKleine and wife of Sheri of Waverly, GA; daughter, Misty Stevens Lebischak and husband Jason of Meridianville, AL; several grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Elbert Lee Stevens; mother, Lucille Morrow Stevens; brother, Charles Stevens and sisters, Shirley Stevens and Mildred Sue Burcham.
