Edwin Graves

Edwin Graves, 78, of Falkner, MS, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the State Veterans Home in Oxford, MS. He was born in Memphis, TN on April 27, 1941 to the late Don and Jewel Turner Graves and was a member of County Line Baptist Church. He was a US Marine Corp Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Edwin will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 10–11 am at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Edwin’s life with military honors will be held at 11 am Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Randy Buse. Honorary pallbearers include Richard Ragan, Ron Buse, Mitch Ragan, Andrew Ragan, Steve Scheckles, Rick Stavropoulos and Tom McMahon. Interment will follow in Corinth National Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Edwin’s memory include his sisters: Sandra J. Miller of Falkner, MS and Delona D. Graves of Scobey, MS; seven nieces, one nephew, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Don Graves; his mother: Jewel Turner Graves; his sister: Donalyn C.
